On your own, it seems hard to take action against climate change, but together we can make a difference. If you live in Newtown, Redfern, Marrickville, Glebe, Leichhardt or any other part of Sydney’s inner west, why don’t you come along to a meeting?

We meet at 6.30pm at the Watershed, 218 King Street, Newtown, every second Wednesday (June: 8th and 22nd. July: 6th and 20th. August: 3rd, 17th and 31st…). Membership is free, email Lindsay at climate.action.newtown@gmail.com to find out more or just head along, new members are always welcome!

Climate Action Newtown is a not-for-profit community group, all members are volunteers and the group is politically unaligned.

We exist to educate and activate the local Inner West community about the climate crisis we are facing – and the solutions that exist now. We know Australia needs to take urgent steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition our economy to a low carbon future based on 100% renewable energy. But we can’t do this without your help!

As resourceful types in a community operated group, every dollar you give will go directly back to helping to create a brighter future for Australia, starting right here in the Inner West.
